Finally the long wait of about 4 years is over for people looking DDA Flats. DDA has now come-up with 25034 flats for the DDA Housing Scheme 2014 which will be made available for the people in September-October 2014 and that too at half the price from Market Cost. The scheme will be available from 1st Sep 2014 to 9th Oct 2014.
"We have completed all preparations to launch the scheme taking while taking care of all categories - Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG) and Higher Income Group (HIG)", Balvinder Kumar (DDA, Vice Chairman) said.
The Allotment will be done in December 2014-January 2015 for successful Applicants. However there is one boundation, that you will not be able to sell the Flat before completing 5 years.
Here is the list of locations where the DDA Flats are ready to be allotted:
- Narela - EWS Flats(1 Room)
- Rohini - EWS Flats(1 Room) and LIG Flats (1 BHK)
- Dwarka - LIG Flats (1 BHK) and MIG Flats (2 BHK)
- Siraspur - LIG Flats (1 BHK) and MIG Flats (2 BHK)
- Sultangarhi - HIG Flats (3 BHK)
There would be total 25,034 EWS Flats (From Rs. 12 lakh), 1500 MIG and LIG Flats (Ranging between Rs. 30 lakh and 80 lakh) and 1375 HIG Flats (Above 1 Crore).

DDA has started building more 37000 flats, which will be probably be available in calendar year 2017-18. Out of these 25,034 flats, 22,627 will be One Bedroom Flats.
Also DDA is planning for more 47000 flats, however the work has not yet started for it.
